Donald Trump and his supporters were furious on Tuesday when Barack Hussein Obama gave Hillary Clinton a ride from Washington D.C. to a campaign rally in North Carolina on Air Force One.
According to Daily Mail, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee took to Twitter to slam Obama for his use of the government aircraft for political purposes.
“‘Why is President Obama allowed to use Air Force One on the campaign trail with Crooked Hillary? She is flying with him tomorrow,” Trump wrote. “Who pays?”
Though the Clinton campaign has claimed that they will pay some of the costs, the American taxpayers will be forced to foot the vast majority of the bill. Air Force One costs over $200,000 an hour to operate, so the bill for this trip could reach nearly a million dollars.
