talking up Hillary Clinton at his first appearance on the campaign trail

Clinton and President Obama will hit the campaign trail together for
the first time in 2016 on Tuesday in Charlotte, N.C. The president and
the presumptive Democratic nominee "will discuss building on the
progress we've made and their vision for an America that is stronger
together," the Clinton campaign announced last week. Their first joint
appearance following Obama's endorsement originally was set for Green
Bay, Wis., on June 15, but was canceled after the mass shootings in
Orlando on June 12. Obama has endorsed Clinton to succeed him in
office.
