Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton latest polls

Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton is leading Republican Donald Trump in a pair of swing states and tied in another in the 2016 race for the White House, according to the latest poll.
The Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll shows Clinton with an 8 point lead in Florida -  the largest of the presidential swing states -  topping Trump 47 percent to 39 percent as compared to 43 percent to 42 percent on May 10. In Pennsylvania, the former Secretary of State leads the presumptive Republican nominee 42 percent to 41 percent, virtually unchanged since the most recent polling.
In Ohio, Clinton and Trump are tied at 40 percent each. May's polling had Trump with a small 43-39 percent lead.
"Secretary Hillary Clinton is pulling ahead in Florida, but the pictures in Ohio and Pennsylvania are much less clear," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac Poll.

"The at-times bitter verbal battles between Trump and some Republicans leaders is showing in these numbers. In these three key states, Clinton is doing better, and in the case of Florida much better, among Democrats than Trump is among Republicans. Traditionally GOP presidential candidates score better on this party loyalty test."
The three states are key to anyone hoping to win the White House: Since 1960 no candidate has won the presidential race without taking at least two of the three.
Overall, voters said Clinton is better prepared than Trump to be president; that she is more intelligent; and has higher moral standards. Voters are split on whether Trump is more honest and trustworthy than Clinton and voters in Ohio and Pennsylvania find him more inspiring. Voters in each state said Trump's recent comments about a judge of Mexican descent are racist but all agree the businessman-turned-politician would be better at creating jobs.
he Quinnipiac poll was conducted from June 8-19.
Composite polling
According to Real Clear Politics, which factors in polls from CNN, Reuters, CNBC, Bloomberg, CBS and Fox News, among others, Clinton has a lead of almost 6 points over Trump. Bloomberg's poll shows the widest margin at 12 points; Fox News and Economist/You Gov show a 3 point lead for Democrats.
Monmouth and CNN's polls – like the Quinnipiac poll – were conducted through June 19 after the most recent terrorist attacks in Orlando in which a gunman killed 49 people at a gay nightclub. Both of those polls show Clinton with a lead of as much as 8 points.
Trump short on cash?
The polling amid news that Trump's campaign is also lagging behind Clinton's in cash.
Recent Federal Election Commission filings show Trump raised $3 million in May while Clinton brought in more than $26 million. Trump started June with $1.29 million in cash on hand compared to Clinton's $42 million.
